As The Gateway Pundit previously reported, Fagan was the first woman to lead the Coast Guard or any branch of the U.S. military. She was fired by the acting Secretary of Homeland Security, Benjamin Huffman, due to several operational failures under her watch and rampant political correctness.
Her failures included ignoring border security threats, insufficient leadership in recruitment and retention, obsession with diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives (DEI), and an âerosion of trustâ regarding her handling of sexual assault cases at the Coast Guard Academy in what is known as Operation Fouled Anchor.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt has announced DOGE is planning to cut funding to POLITICO and other media outlets funded by USAID. Ms Leavitt during a White House press briefing said she can confirm more than â8 million taxpayer dollarsâ that have gone to POLITICO âwill no longer be happeningâ. âWe are going line by line when it comes to the federal governmentâs books ⌠this president and his team are making decisions across the board on do these receipts serve the interest of the American people, is this a good use of the American taxpayer's money.â Her remarks come as the Department of Government Efficiency looks to dismantle the United States Agency for International Development. DOGE was founded by United States President Donald Trump to target waste and save money.
