In Matthew 23:28 Jesus told the Pharisees and scribes:
28So you too, on the outside you seem righteous to men, but on the inside you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.…
Jesus showed them that he knew who they were, he knew their hypocritical actions and their iniquities with respect to those who did not think like them and / or did not accept what they said.
Also in these times we are full and surrounded by this same species who want to appear fair but we know from their actions that they are full of evil, jealousy, arrogance and drunkenness of power.
Let's see what else the writing says these hypocrites:
The prophet Isaiah denounced hypocrisy in his time: "So says the Lord: For this people draws near to me with their mouths, and honors me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me, and their fear of me is not it is more than a commandment of men that has been taught to them "(Isaiah 29:13). Centuries later, Jesus quoted this verse, pointing to the same condemnation of the religious leaders of his day (Matthew 15: 8-9). John the Baptist called the hypocritical multitudes who came to him to be baptized a "generation of vipers" and warned them to "bear fruit worthy of repentance" (see Luke 3: 7-9). Jesus likewise took a firm stance against self-righteousness; he called hypocrites "wolves in sheep's clothing" (Matthew 7:15), "whitewashed tombs" (Matthew 23:27), "serpents" and "generation of vipers" (Matthew 23:33).
Beware of the whitewashed graves!
