This may be news that is 36 years old, but what is significant about it is that it is about a significant discovery that challenged the widely held belief that birds had evolved from dinosaurs, yet received almost no attention until a few years ago.

Archeaopteryx had been widely held by many evolutionists as the missing link between dinosaurs and birds but the discovery of a specimen called Protoavis had given cause to doubt that Archeaopteryx was a missing link between dinosaurs and birds because not only was it discovered in geologic layers dated to be older than those in which Archeaopteryx was discovered, but Protoavis was shown to have more in common with presently existing birds than Archeaopteryx and was even classified to be a bird itself.

Not only does this little known discovery potentially disqualify Archeaopteryx as being a missing link between anything, but it also potentially disqualifies any other known proposed missing links between dinosaurs and birds as well.

The discovery was reported by the scientific publication, Nature in 1986, and yet in spite of the discovery, the evolutionists have persisted in propagating the lie that birds evolved from dinosaurs and that without any substantive evidence.
