So I just read Torba's statement that he released about Trump's new social media site, and the marketing lies he engages in are hilarious and terrible.

Torba literally claims that when people join Gab from other sites like when Parler went down in January, they stick around on Gab and commit to it. What torba omits is that out of the 50 million people who visited Gab back in January, less than 18 million of them are still around on Gab today. This means that over the course of nine months, 32 million people came to Gab, saw what a disgusting pit of bigotry and hypocrisy it was, and left Gab behind for other websites. If Gab was this wonderful place to be like he claims it is, we would not have seen 32 million people give Gab the boot over the last nine months.
