The Taliban is made up of Muslims who follow the teachings of Islam, which means that they are taking sex slaves in the areas of afghanistan they have recently taken over, and which means that they believe the Islamic teaching that a woman's testimony is only half that of a man's in a court trial, and that the majority of the people in hell are women.

My parent's local church decided to conform to the authoritarian government again and go back to requiring masks to attend in-person services, so it's back to watching church livestream at home. Being able to hold in-person services with the blessing of the State is more important to them than truth or reality.
